Tehran (IP) - The Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved significant progress despite sanctions and threats and is ready to share these experiences with Islamic countries, President Raisi said on Wednesday.

Iran PressIran News: Ebrahim Raisi, at the Iftar banquet with ambassadors and charge d'affaires of Islamic countries, congratulated the governments and nations of the Islamic countries on Eid al-Fitr in advance.

"Islamic countries have unique capacities that can be exchanged," Raisi stated.

The President called unity and cohesion the need and strategy of the Islamic Ummah in the current world conditions and added: "The ill-wishers of Muslim nations seek to create division between Islamic countries, nations, tribes, and religions, but God Almighty and His precious Messenger have invited us to unity and integrity and the holy month of Ramadan is the manifestation of this unity for the Islamic Ummah."

Referring to the aggressions of the Zionist Regime and the barbaric crimes of this regime against the defenseless fasting Palestinian people, and the need to condemn these aggressions, Raisi said: "Today, the expectation of the Muslim nations is practical action against the crimes of the Zionist regime and support for the oppressed nation of Palestine."

Stating that Islamic countries have unique capacities that can be exchanged, the President stated: The Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved significant progress despite sanctions and threats and is ready to share these experiences with Islamic countries.

Raisi considered the policy of good neighborliness and relations with Islamic countries as one of the priorities of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.


ٍElsewhere, He called Afghanistan a member of the body of the Islamic world and said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran supports the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan to solve the problems of the oppressed people of the war-torn country."

He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes preserving territorial integrity and realizing the will of the people of Iraq, Yemen, and Syria to prevent the disintegration of these countries.

Referring to the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting and eradicating terrorism in the region, the president said: "Lieutenant General Ghasem Soleimani, Mehdi Al-Muhandis, and their fellows have stood up to the sedition of terrorist groups, but these heroes of the fight against terrorism in the region were killed by the Americans who were the main cause of formation of ISIS.
