Iran Press/ Iran news: Bahram Einollahi told Iran Press on Wednesday, that the production of EB bandage is in the research phase and will be commercialized soon to meet the country's needs.
Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a rare complex group of inherited skin fragility disorders. Ideally, patients should be managed in a specialist center. EB is a lifelong disorder that requires specialist intervention and considerations to minimize complications and improve quality of life.
Einollahi highlighted Iran's medical advancements and said that the country has been recognized by the WHO as a role model in the health area for the region's country and the world.
He expressed hope that other countries could benefit from Iran's experiences in the health and medicine areas.
The Iranian health Minister said that the ministry is determined to strengthen the knowledge-based companies so that a major part of the medicines needed could be produced within the country.
