Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Minister said 162,000 doses of the vaccine had been injected in the past 24 hours, which is a new record.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press news agency Saeed Namaki told reporters on Sunday that the vaccine would increase to over 300,000 doses per day, which would be announced in due course.

Namaki also said that While different countries had a shortage of hospital beds during the pandemic at the time of the outbreak of the British variant, this problem was not observed in Iran.

Iran's health minister said that coronavirus has now been curbed in all provinces and that only three cities are in the red situation.

Namaki added that by the end of June and early July, about 14 million people would be vaccinated.
