Tehran (IP) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman offered his condolences to the Russian government and people on the crash of a Russian airliner in which 28 passengers and crew were feared dead.

Iran PressIran News: Saeed Khatibzadeh also expressed his condolences to the families of the plane crash victims.

An Antonov An-26 aircraft flying over Kamchatka on Tuesday lost contact with the watchtower. 

There were 28 people on board, and the wreckage of the plane was found in Kamchatka Peninsula after the plane went down while preparing to land in poor visibility.

Officials in Russia's Kamchatka have released a list of missing crew members and passengers.
