Iran logs 50 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 50 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,083.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 19, 2021, 6,170,979 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,004,277 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,968 cases, of whom 304 patients were hospitalized.

2,876 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 40,774,033 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no cities are red or orange, 53 are yellow, and 395 are blue zones.

So far, 59,126,764 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 50,340,978 have received the second dose, 3,772,199 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 113,239,941 doses.
