Iran logs 34 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that 34 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,606.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 31, 2021, a total number of 6,194,401 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,037,090 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,703 cases, of whom 279 patients were hospitalized.

2,694 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 41,982,912 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 59,803,722 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 51,884,637 have received the second dose, 7,683,148 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 119,371,507 doses.
