Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 162 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 124,585.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 20, 2021, 5,821,737 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,361,169 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,770 cases, out of whom 1,798 patients were hospitalized.

4,559 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 34,333,516 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, nine cities are red, 106 are orange, 228 are yellow, and 105 are blue zones.

So far, 49,711,407 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 26,806,374 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 76,517,781 doses.
