Iran Press/ Europe: Iran's international nuclear agreement or the so-called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was signed between the country and P5+1 countries (Russia, China, UK, Germany, France, and the US) in 2015, but the US scrapped it on May 18, 2018, re-imposing more sanctions on Iran.
US President Joe Biden's administration claimed that it pursued a diplomatic approach to Iran and an attempt to return to the JCPOA, but so far, it took no steps to show its goodwill.
On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum on Thursday in Swiss, Iran's FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in an interview with CNN: "Recently, we proposed an initiative to revive the nuclear agreement, so the US president Joe Biden is required to stop the policy of maximum pressure [on Iran]."

Amir-Abdollahian told CNN that the return to the JCPOA was subject to Iran's return to international economic activities.
He pointed out that Iran's limestone for Tehran-Washington was the American side's behavior and said: "We have not yet reached a point where we can trust the American side; we are not convinced that its behavior has changed."
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for Switzerland on Wednesday to attend the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2022 (Davos).
