"For 20 years, the enemies have created a nuclear challenge for us because they know that the movement in the nuclear industry is the key to the scientific progress of the country; the excuse of nuclear weapons is a lie and they themselves know that we do not want to go after weapons based on our Islamic basis, and if it were not for this, they could not stop it; As they could not stop our nuclear developments until now."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution added: "The nuclear industry is important both in terms of the progress and capabilities of the country in the technical, economic, and health fields, which gives prestige to the country and makes life better for the people, and in terms of its global and international political weight. The third point is in terms of the spirit of national self-confidence. This is exactly the opposite of the enemy's movement. "Another truth is the uncertainty of our parties and our opponents in their promises. So far in these many years - now those of you who have more experience in this nuclear field, pay attention to what I am referring to - many promises in different sectors, whether the governments that were on the side of our negotiations or the agency itself, made promises and they did not fulfill those promises, many times, unfulfilled promises, mistrust; Therefore, one of the achievements of this 20-year challenge is that we realized that we cannot trust their promises or their words." Stressed Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
"These are important achievements, consider them important. We were dealt a blow in many places because of these misplaced trusts. It is very important for a nation, the officials of a country, to know and understand where to trust and where not to. We have understood this, in the last twenty years, we have understood who is trustworthy and who is not." stated the leader.
Anyone who wants a "strong Iran" should pay attention to nuclear industry
"The nuclear industry is one of the basic and important components of the country's power and the country's credibility and the country's strength and power. If you want a strong Iran, everyone who loves Iran, everyone who loves the Islamic Republic, and everyone who loves the nation and wants strength for this country, should support this part of the scientific, research, industrial, and activities that are here. The leader further stressed: "Cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency should be maintained within the framework of safeguards regulations. The Law of Strategic Action of the Parliament should not be violated.

"This 20-year challenge with our enemies over the nuclear issue also revealed some facts. This 20-year challenge has shown some truths; The first fact is that it showed the extraordinary ability and talent of our youth.", stated the leader of the Islamic Revolution.
He also said: "All these were carried out under sanctions, under threats, our scientists were constantly threatened, our scientists were assassinated, some were assassinated, some were threatened to be assassinated, at the same time, these advances have been achieved, so we are excellent in terms of human resources."

The Leader said: "Now we are using about 1000 megawatts of nuclear power, and the design is for most of it, but the goal is 20,000 megawatts; Of the 89,000 megawatts that the country needs in, for example, the medium future, 20,000 megawatts must be nuclear. It is both financially efficient, biologically efficient, and environmentally efficient; Follow this seriously and in a planned manner."
"Focus on low capacity power plants. I heard that it is common in the world that they mostly work on low-capacity power plants, one hundred megawatts, two hundred megawatts, or even less than one hundred megawatts.
