Iran Press/ Iran news: Biotechnology medicines are used for specific and incurable diseases such as MS and various cancers.
Amin Ghobadi, a member of the Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Biotechnology Medicines, stated that in Iran we have about 40 active companies produce about 30 types of biotechnology medicines and said: It takes about 5 years for the production of each biotechnology drug to enter the market.
According to Ghobadi: Iran ranks first in Asia with the production of 29 biotechnology drugs.
Ghobadi added: One of the important achievements of Iranian researchers in the field of biotechnology medicines is the production of vaccines, which has made Iran one of the few countries in the world that produce these vaccines.
