The military attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran also announced Iran's readiness to assist the Iraqi armed forces in various fields.
Referring to the Islamic Republic of Iran's assistance in the fight against ISIS, Gen. Yarullah, Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army, said his country was ready to continue cooperation with Tehran in various fields and to continue and develop cooperation to combat terrorism.
He called for the development and strengthening of a quadripartite anti-terrorism intelligence and security cooperation center (Iran, Russia, Syria, and Iraq).
The quadripartite information exchange and security cooperation center of Iran, Iraq, Russia, and Syria was established in 2015 with the membership of military attachés of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Syria, Russia, and Iraq in Baghdad with the aim of exchanging information to fight terrorism. Various meetings are held on the latest coordination and exchange of information between member states. 207/209
