Iran Press/Iran News: Participating in an online videoconference on Instagram on the occasion of Al-Quds Day, Mohammad Javad Zarif said "we believe in the need for ending Israel's aggression against Palestinian people as well as ending the most egregious example of human rights abuses in Palestine."
The videoconference was displayed in Johannesburg, South Africa.
"World powers, who support the Zionist Regime, are not omnipotent. The problem was that Islamic countries couldn't support Palestinians and Palestinian cause over the past 70 years," he added.
Referring to the constant resistance by Palestinian people against Israel, Iran's Foreign Minister went on to say that Israel's aggression and violation of international rights cannot destroy the aspiration of Palestinian people.
"We have realized that the Zionist Regime and its supporters, like the United States, resort to terrorism to advance their affairs, while it is not a sign of power, but a sign of weakness," Zarif stated.
Iran's top diplomat also referred to the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and described him as one of the most prominent supporters of the Palestinian cause.
At the end of his speaking, Zarif called for unifying goals with the Palestinian cause to stop the global cruelty against Palestinians.
