Tehran (IP) - Member of Iran's Parliament Presiding Board stressed the support of Palestine as one of the Islamic Republic of Iran's strategies from the very beginning of its establishment.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Wednesday, Assadollah Abbasi noted: “We are duty-bound to support the Palestinians and Islamic countries must do the same because the Palestinians' rights have been ignored and people in West Bank, Gaza Strip and Palestine are being massacred.”

Abbasi called on all of the free and independent nations to support the Palestinian nation which is oppressed by Israel.

He referred to the recent US and Israeli regime’s plots against Palestine such as the annexation of parts of the West Bank to the occupied territories and said the oppression on the Palestinian nation got clearer to the world.

The lawmaker expressed hope that all countries in the world condemn the US and Israeli regime’s plots and their oppression against Palestinians more than ever before.

Referring to holding Quds-Day rally annually, Abbasi said this year’s Quds Day ceremony will be held in a new form due to the coronavirus outbreak.
