Any US military action in Iraq resembles to ISIS' attack
Tehran (IP) - The Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei in his latest tweet on Tuesday called any probable the US military action in Iraq just like Daesh attack on the Islamic country.
Iran Press/ Iran News: The Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei in his latest tweet released on Tuesday stressed the fact that any act of terror or aggression are the same either done by the given government or by the given terrorist group highlighting that the Americans should be expelled otherwise Iraqi people will make them do so.
Following suspicious US military movements in Iraq and reports of Washington's attempt to target some Islamic resistance groups and al-Hashed al-Sha'abi, serious concerns have been raised in Iraq about US measures.
At the same time, some Islamic resistance groups in Iraq have stated that they will not remain silent and the will respond to these suspicious US moves.
On Monday, Iraqi caretaker Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi said that illegal actions aimed at targeting Iraqi military bases or foreign missions are actually targeting the sovereignty and ignoring the government in the country.
Abdul-Mahdi, in his remarks released to Iraqi media, noted that he was concerned about reports of unauthorized flights near Iraqi military bases.
He also warned of what he called a "retaliatory military action without permission" in his country and called it a threat to the security of citizens and a violation of the sovereignty and highest interests of the country.
