Tehran (IP) - The Islamic Republic of Iran hosts the 4th edition of the International Holy Quds Congress with the post-Zionist world being its theme.

Iran PressIran news: The 4th edition of the International Holy Quds Congress kicks off in Tehran with the participation of domestic and foreign guests, on Monday, April 10. 

The congress, themed "Post-Zionist World," was initiated with a message by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

Esteemed speakers and scholars, including the Head of the Iranian Islamic Seminaries Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the Leader's representative in Hajj and pilgrimage affairs Abdolfattah Navvab, and the mother of the martyr Ibrahim Nabulsi, will deliver speeches at the event.

The congress is primarily focused on promoting a message of support to the oppressed nation of Palestine and discussing strategies to combat the Zionist regime's expansionist policies in the region. The congress also aims to condemn the Israeli regime's human rights violations. 

With this event, the Islamic Republic of Iran demonstrates its commitment to standing up against Zionist aggression and promoting peace in the region.

Head of Iran's Seminaries Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the Iranian Leader's Representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Abdolfattah Navab, Iranian MP Zohreh Elahian, and the President of the World Union of Resistance Scholars Sheikh Maher Hamoud, Asef al-Barghouthi were among the guest who is expected to have lectures.

A Member Parliament of Iran, Abolfazl Amouee, also was present in the ceremony and read the Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf's statement regarding Quds Day.
