Iran Press/ Middle East: Iran's Foreign Minister left Oman for Lebanon on Wednesday, after having consultations with his Omani counterpart, Badr al-Busaidi.
Upon his arrival in Beirut on Wednesday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahain said that Iran has initiatives for the improvement of the situation in Lebanon, which it will discuss with the Lebanese authorities.
Amir-Abdollahian pointed out that in the new positive status of the region, Iran considers it's own the security, progress, and prosperity of Lebanon.
He expressed concern over the civil war in Sudan and noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran will do the best of its ability to maintain peace in the region, including Afghanistan.
The northeastern African country has been the scene of fighting between the military and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary group since April 15.
Treatment in hospitals, providing water supply, and enjoying basic public services faced many difficulties from the first day of conflict and now the water supply network in the Bahri area of Khartoum has been destroyed due to blasts.
