The tenth round of the Iran-Georgia Joint Road Commission meeting was held in Tbilisi with the participation of representatives of road transport organizations and trade unions of the two countries.

Iran PressAsia:  Javad Hedayati, the director-general of Transit and International Transportation Affairs Bureau of Iran Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization (RMTO), said at the meeting on Monday: "The parties will resume international passenger transportation between Iran and Georgia, revive and deepen regional transit, and support membership in international conventions of transport."

Also, at the end of the 10th session of the Iran-Georgia Joint Road Commission, Iran's delegation visited the ports of Puti and Batumi and the Sarpi land border, the Turkish-Georgian border crossing, and the status of unloading, loading, and customs processes in Georgian ports.
