At the end of the regional trip and the meeting with the officials of Oman and Lebanon, Iran;s Minister of Foreign Affairs left for Tehran on Friday evening.

Iran PressMiddle East: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Muscat, the capital of Oman, last Tuesday in line with regional trips and consultations with officials of neighboring countries.

In meetings with his Omani counterpart Seyyed Badr Albusaidi, Minister of Omani Education, and Mohammad Abd Salam, the head of the Negotiating Board of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, Amir-Abdollahian met and discussed the most important bilateral, regional and international issues.

Also, Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, on Wednesday evening. During this trip, Iran's Foreign Minister met and talked with Lebanon's Foreign Minister Abdullah Bouhabib, Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri.

Iran's top diplomat also met with Ziad Nakhale, Secretary General of the Islamic Movement of Palestine and a group of Lebanese parliamentarians. He consulted with Nakhale about the latest developments in the resistance front and learned about the views of the Lebanese parliamentarians on the formation of a government in this country.

Amir-Abdollahian also honored the memory of the resistance martyrs by attending the tomb Emad Mughniyeh upon his arrival in Lebanon.
