Tehran(IP)- Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman expressed condolences to Tajikistan for the death of a number of Tajik citizens in the torrential rains.

Iran PressIran news: Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Nasser Kanaani condoled the death of a number of citizens of Tajikistan.  

Following the torrential rains in Dushanbe and Vahdat cities and the flood that took the lives of some people in Tajikistan, the Iranian Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Naser Kanaani expressed condolence to the people of the country.

As a result of heavy rain and floods on Sunday, 13 people died in Vahdat city and Rudaki District of Tajikistan.

The heavy rain on Sunday also caused serious damage to parts of the Dushanbe-Khujand road, causing mud, landslides, and rockfalls.
