Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs conveyed Iran's condolence to the Libyan nation and government over the lethal typhoons and floods.

Iran PressIran News: The Daniyal hurricane has hit vast areas of eastern Libya, causing heavy rains and floods that inundated the communicative routes.

The storm and heavy floods have killed 150 people in the eastern Libyan city of Derna over the last two days, and the death toll is expected to rise to 250, the head of the Red Crescent in Benghazi said on Monday, as Reuters quotes.

The Iranian MFA Spokesman Nasser Kanaani expressed his condolences to the people and government of Libya for the death and disappearance of a large number of Libyan citizens.

Kanaani wished healing for the injured who survived the storm and asked God for divine blessing for the ones who lost their lives in the natural disaster.
