Iran Press/ Iran news: In the meeting, Ali-Akbar Mehrabian congratulated Mohammed Ben Hamad Al-Hajri on Qatar's National Day and noted that high-profile meetings between the two countries officials are a clear example of the firm determination of Iran and Qatar to promote bilateral relations.
Mehrabian stressed the need to promote further and consolidate mutual relations in the political, economic, and cultural fields and expressed hope that, relying upon the common capacities, the two countries' officials would take big steps in line with safeguarding the interests of the two nations.
The Iranian energy minister also congratulated Qatar for the successful holding of the 2022 World Cup and appreciated the Qatari statement for promoting Islamic values in the event.
