Iran Press/ Iran news: Brigadier General Vahidi added, Islamic Revolution will resist against conspiracies of the enemies, stronger than ever before.
The Head of Iran's SNDU made the remarks in a local ceremony entitled “Forty Years of Plot, Forty Years of Resistance”, held on the University campus on Saturday 29 December, and stated that enemies have orchestrated numerous and very complicated conspiracies against the Islamic Republic of Iran since the Islamic Revolution, so that all their plots are doomed to failure, Mehr News Agency reported.
Decline of American power started from the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and also the takeover of the US embassy in Tehran, General Vahidi emphasized.
Former Iranian Defense Minister also said that many famous revolutions failed after a short period but the Islamic Revolution was protected against the conspiracies of enemies for forty years and attained numerous achievements in this regard.

Commenting on the issue of Western powers presence in the region, General Vahidi said, the enemies falsely attribute terrorism to Iran, while the Zionist regime overtly commits acts of terrorism. It is a matter of regret to say that terrorist groups are always supported by Iran's enemies in the region.
The issues of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and Convention of Financing Terrorism (CFT) are raised classifying Iran as belonging to a group of risky countries while some countries have been turned into a hub for the presence of terrorist groups, Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi criticized.

Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) involves investigating, analyzing, deterring and preventing sources of funding for activities intended to achieve political, religious or ideological goals through violence and the threat of violence against civilians.
Being blacklisted by FATF since 2008, Iran has been trying to implement anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) standards, but FATF is still unsatisfied with steps taken by the Islamic Republic so far.
On June 10, the Iranian parliament passed a law allowing the country to join the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC), but decided to put on hold debates on accession to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for two months. 205/ 211 /105
