Iran Press/Iran news: Behnam Saeedi, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, about the fall of Bashar al-Assad's government in Syria, said: "We believe that Syria performed well during this period in defending the axis of resistance, in defending the oppressed, and in defending those whose lands were occupied by the Israeli regime."
The Iranian parliamentarian said: "The recent developments took place rapidly, and with the planning they had in advance and considering the conditions in the region, the Assad government ultimately fell.
