Iran Press/ Europe: "Mehdi Hosseini Matin," told Iran Press at the end of the meeting with a number of British media in London on Friday that, unfortunately, in the last two weeks, there has been a kind of double standard in the behavior of the British media in favor of the Israeli regime.
The Chargé d'Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in the UK warned about the consequences of the British media's one-sided dissemination in favor of the Israeli regime and added that the British media did not cover the brutal attacks of the Israeli regime on Gaza in any way, and one of the goals of the meeting with British media reporters was to end the double and hypocritical behavior.
Hosseini Matin stated that, of course, people in the English media tried to state some of the facts of the Gaza war, and they were forced to resign or were under severe pressure to reveal the truth.
The diplomat also announced the clarification of Iran's diplomatic positions and moves to stop the Gaza war as one of the objectives of holding a meeting with reporters of various British media and said that in this meeting, Iran's positions were explained to journalists in the form of four main points.
The Chargé d'Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Britain listed the cessation of war and the end of the killing of civilians, the opening of crossings to send food and medicine, and other humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, preventing the escalation of conflicts in the region and collective action against the Israeli regime among the points of Iran's positions and added imposing sanctions against the Israeli regime and expelling diplomats and closing the embassies of this regime in Islamic countries are other positions of Iran.
Hosseini Matin said that the Israeli regime acted against the Palestinian citizens like the Nazis in Germany, and defense is the legitimate right of the Palestinian people, and no one can deprive the Palestinian people and resistance of their legal right.
The chargé d'affaires of the Iranian embassy in the UK emphasized that, in a meeting with some British media, the Israeli regime and its allies were warned about the consequences of the continuation of the current situation in Gaza and any escalation of regional tension.
