Tehran (IP): The spokesperson of Iran's Foreign Ministry criticized the countries that have stopped their aid to the people of Gaza in the dire and critical conditions of the war and said that awakened consciences will judge about this.

According to Iran press news agency "Nasser Kanaani", the spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote in a message on X social network (Formerly twitter) on Friday: "According to the official news published by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), a significant number of countries donating to the agency have withdrawn their aid. They have stopped it only because of the unproven claim of the Zionist regime that a number of UNRWA employees helped Hamas for the October 7 operation."

Kanaani further stated: "It is a bitter and painful irony; The Zionist regime has killed about 27 thousand Palestinian citizens in about 120 days, several thousand people are missing and tens of thousands of citizens have been injured, and more than 80 percent of the residents of the Gaza Strip have been homeless and displaced."

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran pointed out that the Zionist regime, contrary to the request of the UN Security Council resolution and the temporary order of the International Court of Justice, prevents humanitarian aid from entering Palestine, adding: "These countries (USA, Britain, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia, Finland and the Netherlands) apart from expressing concern and some ineffective political show offs, they did not create any restrictions in political relations with the Zionist regime and they continue their commercial and economic cooperation with the Israeli regime and some of them continue with their military, weapons and financial aid. Awakened consciences will judge it.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has warned it may have to suspend operations across West Asia by the end of February after Israel charged 12 of its staff and cut off international aid.

After the suspension of US aid to UNRWA, seven other countries, including Britain, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia, Finland and the Netherlands, have also stopped financial aid to this international agency; This anti-human act takes place while none of these countries have reacted more than expressing concern for the four months of open genocide by the Zionist regime in Gaza.

According to the statistics of the United Nations, 1.9 million citizens of the Gaza Strip have been displaced by the recent crimes of the Zionist regime, which constitute 85% of the population of this region, who are facing a severe crisis of medicine, drinking water and food, and on the other hand, sixty percent of Gaza's infrastructure has also been destroyed.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of the Zionist regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip on October 7 of last year has reached 27 thousand 19 people and the number of injured has reached 66 thousand 139 people. 204
