Iran Press/ Iran news: The Spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned the attack of the Zionist occupation regime on the city of Rafah. He said that the attack of the usurping Zionist regime was aimed at defeating the international efforts to stop the genocide committed by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, and it was done only to protect the individual and group interests of the criminals of the Zionist occupation regime.
Kanaani emphasized that the key to peace and security in the region is the immediate and unconditional cessation of the Zionist regime's war against the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and all international actors must put pressure on the Zionist occupation regime in this regard.
The Iranian spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that the responsibility for the ongoing crimes and bloodshed, especially in the city of Rafah, rests with the child-killing Zionist regime and its main supporter, the American government, and these criminals must be held accountable for their crimes.
Kanaani added that the Islamic Republic of Iran once again asks the international legal and judicial institutions to speed up the process of dealing with the crimes against humanity committed by the Zionist apartheid regime and bring perpetrators to trial and punish them.
The usurping Zionist regime has been continuously bombarding the eastern areas of Rafah city in the south of the Gaza Strip since Tuesday morning.
According to Palestinian sources, the intense attacks of the Israeli regime on Rafah continue and the Zionists have turned the city of Rafah into a closed military zone committing genocide in this area.
Dozens of people were martyred and injured in these brutal attacks. Many women and children can be seen among the martyrs.
