Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, strongly condemned the assault on Kamal Adwan Hospital by Israeli forces, labeling it a heinous war crime and part of the ongoing genocide in occupied Palestine.

Iran Press/West Asia:  In a statement, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei described the attack, which included the hospital's destruction and forced evacuation of patients and medical staff, as a blatant violation of international laws and norms. He emphasized that this act was a deliberate attempt to dismantle Gaza's healthcare infrastructure and deprive its population—particularly children, women, and the injured—of essential medical services.

He criticized the international community's silence, stating that such inaction is unjustifiable and incurs international responsibility.

Kamal Adwan Hospital's Strategic ImportanceBaghaei noted that Kamal Adwan Hospital was one of the last semi-operational medical facilities in northern Gaza. Its destruction, he argued, underscores the systematic targeting of Gaza's healthcare system, which is integral to the broader strategy of suppressing and eradicating the Palestinian population.

He reiterated that the silence of international bodies regarding this atrocity is unacceptable and demanded immediate accountability for those complicit in these crimes.

Call for ActionThe Iranian Foreign Ministry urged global institutions and human rights organizations to break their silence and take decisive measures against what Baghaei referred to as the "genocide and crimes against humanity" perpetuated by the Israeli regime.
