Commentary (IP) - Iranian Foreign Minister, who was in Beijing to negotiate on bilateral ties, tweeted on Friday that the two sides agreed on this day that announced Friday the start of the implementation of the strategic, comprehensive partnership plan between Iran and China signed last year.

Iran PressCommentary: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian's visit to China can be examined from two aspects, considering the items of the negotiations in Beijing and the Iran-China agreements: First; it is a high level in the economic relations between Iran and China, which is of strategic importance in the strategic, comprehensive partnership's plan framework.

Iran-China relations are multi-layered and deep and have different dimensions. The comprehensive document on Iran-China cooperation in this regard is a complete roadmap. The document pays special attention to Iran's economic dimensions and participation in the Belt and Road Initiative. Iran is the bridge between the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf, and the Sea of Oman. Geopolitics has made participation in Iran's medium- and long-term economic plans attractive to foreign investors, including China.

Second; an excellent level of cooperation in the political relations between Tehran and Beijing.

As two important and influential countries, Iran and China have common interests and goals to expand cooperation in various fields, maintain stability and security in the region, and oppose unilateralism. Accordingly, important issues are on the agenda between the two countries at the regional and international levels.

After meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday, the Iranian foreign minister said that Tehran and Beijing had reached a vital consensus on various issues.

The current level of relations is the result of mutual trust in regional and international interactions, which can grow for two reasons: The first reason is the need to use capacities intelligently and turn threats into opportunities for multilateral relations; experience shows that reliance on one or two economic poles will, in the long run, lead to economic and trade dependence and vulnerability to political or economic fluctuations.

The second reason- the need to increase the power of political maneuver at the same time as increasing the economic share in relations with countries and especially in the "Look to East Policy" to balance political relations.

Zohreh Elahian, a member of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said: "China's high economic capacity is crucial in the world, and interaction with the country can ward off many problems of US unilateral sanctions."

Overall, the development of cooperation with major Asian countries such as China will lead to new opportunities for investment in infrastructure and the use of strong political interactions. At the same time, Iran has shown in diplomacy that all avenues do not necessarily end in Washington and the Vienna talks.

So, Iran and China have expanded their relations to three major levels: "political-economic," "security-defense," and "geopolitical-strategic," and the implementation of the 25-year strategic document is an important step in completing this process.
