Iran Press/ Iran news: Saeed Einollahi, who accompanied President Raisi in his visit to Hamadan, western Iran, said on Thursday: "Thanks to the efforts of Iranian scientists, the infrastructure and capacity needed to manufacture 6 types of domestic vaccines are available in the country."
Einollahi said the enemies were trying to tarnish the reputation of the Iranian medical staff by representing them as the opponents of the Iranian causes and values, but its efforts foundered.
Nicaragua and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding on March 17th, 2022, when managers of the Shifa Pharmed Industrial Group affiliated with the Executive Headquarters of Imam’s Directive said it would provide Nicaragua with the COV-Iran Barekat vaccine.
The first consignment of the Iranian COVID-19 vaccine (COV-Iran Barekat) enters Nicaragua on Tuesday.
The Nicaraguan Vice-President Rosario María Murillo Zambrana has announced the news; she stated that her country had received the first batch of the Iranian vaccine, consisting of 200k doses.
The consignment was handed over to the Nicaraguan health officials on June 21, 2022, in the afternoon (local time) in the presence of Iran’s Ambassador to Nicaragua Majid Salehi and Health Minister of Nicaragua Martha Reyes Alvarez.
