Tehran (IP) - The defense Ministers of Iran and Bolivian held a meeting in Tehran to boost bilateral cooperation in the military and defense field.

Iran PressIran news: The Minister of Defense of Bolivia, at the head of a high-ranking delegation, met and talked with the Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense of Iran.

According to the Iran Press news agency, Bolivian Defense Minister Edmundo Novillo Aguilar discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the military and defense field in a meeting with Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Qaraei Ashtiani, Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran this Sunday morning.

Officially called the Plurinational State of Bolivia, it is a country in central Latin America.

Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has established good relations with some countries in the Latin American region, such as Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, and Bolivia, which have a long history of fighting imperialism and global arrogance led by the United States.

In recent years, the relations between Iran and the progressive countries of Latin America have always been on the rise. These relations have been expanding in political, economic, commercial, industrial, energy, health, and other fields.
