BUSHEHR (IP) - A joint parachuting drill involving paratroopers from the Iranian Armed Forces and Belarusian Army took place in Bushehr Naval Base.

Iran PressIran news: On Monday, a joint parachuting free fall competition kicked off in Bushehr, with Iranian elite paratroopers and the Belarusian Army attending.

Hosted by Iran Navy Forces, Six teams of military parachutes from Iran and Belarus are participating in this joint free-fall parachuting camp in Bushehr.

The parachuting teams from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Iranian Police Forces, the IR Navy, and two teams from the Iran Army Ground Forces participated in the event with Belarusian Army.

Brigadier General Seyyed Morteza Darkhoran, the commander of the Bushehr naval base stated at the opening ceremony that this event would last for one week.

This camp aims to foster friendship and cooperation between the two countries and to exchange experiences and skills.

Colonel Dmitry Rabinski, the deputy of physical training at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus expressed gratitude to the Iran Army for inviting the Belarusian Army to this camp stating that this event will strengthen bilateral relations between the countries.

"This freefall parachuting competition will facilitate the exchange of experiences and teach us how to operate in the air and at sea when necessary," Colonel Dmitry Rabinski said, adding that we hope these collaborations will increase day by day between Iran and Belarus.
