Iran Press/ Iran News: According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Iran was the seventh country in the world to accept 979,400 displaced people in 2019.
Turkey ranks first with 3,579,500 refugees, followed by Colombia with 1,771,900 and Pakistan with 1,419,600.
Uganda, Germany, and Sudan are ranked fourth to sixth, and Lebanon, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Jordan are eighth to eleventh.
