Iran Press/ Iran news: Saeed Khatibzadeh announced Iran's position on the newly announced US sanctions against the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said: "This action is another sign of the US government's malice towards the Iranian people, which is designed to continue the failed policy of maximum pressure against Iran."
He added: "It clearly proves the fact that the current US administration, contrary to its claims, uses every opportunity to make baseless accusations and put pressure on the Iranian people."
"While claiming that the United States is ready to return to the full implementation of its obligations under the nuclear agreement, it continues to violate it and UN Security Council Resolution 2231," Khatibzadeh noted.
