Tehran (IP)- During the 28th Iran International Oil, Gas, ‎Refining and ‎Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2024), Deputy Chairman of TurkmenGas State Concern Murad Archaev emphasized the significance of collaboration with Iran in the gas industry. He highlighted the potential for exporting techno-engineering services and engaging in gas swaps as key areas for cooperation.

Iran Press/Iran news:  In a meeting with the Managing Director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Majid Chegeni, Archaev underscored Iran's pivotal role in the global gas industry. He expressed interest in enhancing ties with Iran through energy swaps and allowing Iranian companies to undertake projects in Turkmenistan.

Chegeni acknowledged the longstanding partnership between Iran and Turkmenistan in the gas sector, emphasizing the mutual benefits of strengthening cooperation. He highlighted NIGC's capabilities across various segments of the gas industry and expressed readiness to collaborate on gas swaps and technical services exports.

Furthermore, Chegeni announced that Iran will host this year's ministerial meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) and extended support for Turkmenistan's potential membership in the forum.

The Iran Oil Show 2024 has attracted participation from 1,500 Iranian firms and 250 companies from 12 countries. The event focuses on advancing the petroleum industry through production enhancements and technological advancements.

The exhibition, which commenced on Wednesday, will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Tehran International Permanent Fairground until Saturday. Participants from all sectors of the oil industry are showcasing their innovations at this prestigious event.
