Tehran (IP) - In a Wednesday morning phone call, Iranian and South African foreign ministers discussed the IAEA meeting, proposed resolutions, and cooperation, with Iran emphasizing goodwill and readiness to respond to confrontations.

Iran Press/Iran News: In a telephone conversation this Wednesday morning, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed issues related to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors meeting, the proposed resolution by three European countries, and cooperation between Iran and the IAEA with South African Foreign Minister Ronald Lamola, whose country is a member of the IAEA Board of Governors.

In this telephone conversation, Araghchi referred to Mr. Grossi's visit to Iran, reaffirming the Islamic Republic of Iran's goodwill towards the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He emphasized that if the opposing parties seek confrontation, the Islamic Republic of Iran will also respond appropriately.

The South African Foreign Minister also expressed gratitude for the call from our Foreign Minister and welcomed the cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
