Iran Press/ Iran news: The 11th edition of the naval exercise, dubbed 'Aid and Rescue,' was held on Thursday to improve combat preparedness in maritime security.
Combat vessels and flying units of the Iranian Navy, Air Force, IRGC Navy, the Ports and Maritime Organization, and the Navy of Oman were present in this joint military exercise.
In this one-day exercise, the helicopters of the two countries carried out observation and monitoring operations.
The heads of the joint military friendship committee of the two countries were also present in the exercise.
The presence of Iranian homegrown destroyer Dena and destroyer Sahand along with other surface combat units in this exercise manifested the self-sufficiency of Iran in the field of defense equipment. 219
