Tehran (IP) - Brigadier General Ramazan Sharif, head of the Intifada and Quds Central Headquarters, announced that this year's International Quds Day will be celebrated with even more magnificence, highlighting the courage of Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters during the Al-Aqsa storm operation.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at a press conference in Tehran this morning, Ramazan Sharif revealed that General Salami, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, will be the keynote speaker at the International Quds Day event in Tehran.

"We are commemorating International Quds Day this year amidst the sacrifices made by over 33,000 martyrs in Gaza. Despite their losses, the people of Gaza have shown remarkable resilience," stated Sharif.

He emphasized that for the past 45 years, Iranians have consistently stood in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine on International Quds Day.

Sharif outlined various programs planned for this year's event, including marches in over 2 thousand locations and sending 1500 speakers to different cities across Iran.

Regarding recent events in Syria where IRGC forces were martyred after an attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Sharif noted that such incidents only strengthen Iran's resolve to combat Israel more decisively.

A meeting of national officials is scheduled for this evening with leaders from Yemen's Ansarullah, Lebanon's Hezbollah, and Palestinian resistance groups expected to attend and share their perspectives on International Quds Day.

Sharif highlighted that despite Israeli attempts to sow discord between Gaza residents and Hamas during the Al-Aqsa storm operation, they have failed. He also mentioned that most of Hamas and Islamic Jihad's 70,000 fighters are prepared for conflict.

The official stressed that Palestinians have nothing left to lose and their legitimate defense will be met with support from around the world. He called for global assistance for Palestinians and urged a boycott of the Zionist regime.

Sharif also pointed out that American arms support for Israel during the Al-Aqsa storm operation has been unsuccessful due to Gaza's steadfast resistance over the past six months.

In conclusion, he emphasized public demands for humanitarian aid to Gaza residents and highlighted how events like the Al-Aqsa storm operation have exposed Israel's oppressive nature. On International Quds Day, he promised a detailed account of Zionists' 75-year-long oppression. 204
