Iran Press/ Iran news: The streets leading to the Shrine of Imam Reza (AS) have been illuminated and decorated with colorful flags; Today, May 31, coinciding with Zu Qada 11, 1444 AH, is the birth anniversary of the eighth Imam of the Shia.
A great celebration 'Lovers of Imam Reza' also was held in the city on the very occasion. The Pilgrims stood praying on Tuesday night.
While people vastly took to Imam Reza (AS) Shrine, the 'Naghare Zani' (performing a special piece of music played with special drums and trumpets) was done in the shrine.
The people knew and know him as a kind, courageous, and generous person; There was no scholar wiser and more knowledgeable than Imam Reza in his time, so he was called Alim Al Muhammad (PBUH) in that era.
