Iran Press/ Middle East: Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech on Tuesday at the festival held to celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad [PBUH].
Sayyed Nasrallah said Imam Khomeini bridged the gap between the 12th and the 17th of Rabiul I which was named Muslim Unity Week.
On the initiative of Imam Khomeini Rabi I 12 to 17 (October 9 to 14) was named Unity Week.
Based on the Sunni Muslims' narration Rabi I 12 is the birthday of the Grand Prophet of Islam Muhammad (PBUH), and based on the Shia Muslims' narration Rabi 17 is the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
He praised the Yemeni people as they celebrated the anniversary en masse for several hours in different provinces and expressed their love to Prophet Mohammad [PBUH] by all possible means.
Sayyed Nasrallah said: "The birth of Prophet Mohammad [PBUH] is the birth of the human being whose blessed existence was the reason for charity, mercy, and blessings."
