Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) expressed hope that the National Center for Virtual Space to review the unblocking of some useful internet services.

Iran PressIran news: On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, July 5, Isa Zarepour told reporters that such practical internet services such as Google Play could be unfiltered. 

Zarepour said: "Of course, with regard to the unblock of foreign messengers, we are still subject to the approvals of the higher relevant bodies."

He said that following President Raisi's order in the previous week, a taskforce was formed to pursue the citizen's complaints about the internet problems.   

Yet, he stressed that the issue of filtering is out of the administration's authority.
