Qom (IP) - The closing ceremony of the Third International Holocide Poster, Cartoon, and Caricature Contest took place in Qom University, south of Tehran, on Saturday featuring prominent artists from both national and international backgrounds.

Iran PressIran News: The event aimed to raise awareness about critical issues, including the realities faced by oppressed groups, particularly highlighting the situation of the war-hit people in Gaza, Palestine.

Workshops and discussions were also held during the event to enrich artistic expression and understanding of what is going on in Gaza in the silence of the Western human rights advocates and the international community.
Mohammad Hossein Niroumand and Masoud Nejabati from Iran, Kamal Sharaf from Yemen, Ivan Lira from Venezuela, and

Alexander and Alexandra Faldin from Russia. The event kicked off on Thursday, January 9. 

Holocide resembles the very holocaust claimed by the Israeli regime, but one in which more than 46,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, have been massacred due to the Israeli genocidal way since October 7, 2023.
