IP- Hezbollah says it attacked the settlement of Shtola near the Lebanese border, damaging one of its buildings.

Iran Press/ West Asia: In a statement via its Telegram channel, Hezbollah said that the attack it carried out on a civilian building was in response to Israel’s “attacks on homes and southern villages, the most recent of which was the bombing of the town of Yarin.”

The Israeli military has also said that it struck infrastructure used by Hezbollah.

In a social media post on Friday, the army said that Israeli jets struck targets in the areas of Mis al-Jabal and Kafr Yarin.

The post also says that several projectiles fired out of Lebanon fell in open spaces in northern Israel.

In a statement, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad also says it attacked Erez and the “settlements of the northern Gaza Strip” with a barrage of rockets.

Israel has pounded the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7, killing at least 23,708 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring more than 60,005 others, according to local health authorities.

The revised death toll from Hamas’s attack on Israel stands at 1,139.

After the start of the war in Gaza, Israel launched attacks on southern Lebanon and intensified the conflicts in the north of the occupied territories.
