Iran Press/ West Asia: According to Iran Press, a Tuesday morning report citing Al-Mayadeen, Lebanon's Hezbollah in a statement condemned the Zionist regime's attack on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus and called it an indication of the continued stupidity of the Zionists.

In this statement, while offering condolences to the government and people of Iran for the martyrdom of Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and several Iranian military advisers in this attack, the continuation of the movement of the resistance axis is emphasized.

Lebanon's Hezbollah added: "We fully believe that the innocent blood of these martyrs will cause more determination to resist and confront the Israeli enemy."

At the end of this statement, it is emphasized that this crime that targeted the Iranian consulate will not go unpunished and shall be revenge from the Israeli enemy.

The Syrian state media reported on Monday evening about the air strike of the Israeli army from the occupied Golan region on the Iranian consulate near the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the city of Damascus.
