Tehran (IP): Speaking at a joint press conference with the Government Spokesman and the Minister of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare, Iran’s Health Minister, Bahram Eynolahi, highlighted the primary focus of the Health Ministry under the administration of President Ebrahim Raisi. The key objectives include disease prevention and bolstering the overall health infrastructure of the nation.

Iran PressIran news: Eynolahi announced the completion and operation of 3,164 health projects, underscoring the administration’s commitment to improving healthcare services. He emphasized that 70% of the ministry’s initiatives have been directed toward deprived and less privileged areas, with the provision of 500 SUVs and 5,400 assisted motorcycles to support these regions.

The Health Minister further detailed significant achievements, including the promotion of health, the fight against infectious diseases, and the enhancement of public awareness and education, particularly in the West Asia and East Mediterranean regions. He also noted the progress and efficiency of the health ministry’s system, highlighting its successful experiences in combating and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic as a testament to its capabilities.

Eynolahi concluded by pointing out Iran’s strengths in providing health services, especially in the field of medical tourism. He praised the combination of scientific potential and tourism components, showcasing Iran’s diverse capabilities in the health sector.
