Iran Press/ Iran news: Salajegheh addressed the ministers of environment, science, and technology from the Group of 77 and China, emphasizing that imposing unilateral and illegitimate sanctions poses a significant obstacle to economic and social development and violates the principles outlined in the UN Charter and international laws. Furthermore, it deprives nations of their right to enjoy a healthy environment.
Highlighting the importance of knowledge exchange and experience sharing among countries and international organizations, Salajegheh praised the international dust conference as a significant step in this direction.
Salajegheh also underscored one of the fundamental challenges faced by developing nations - the unfair governance of the global economy and the unequal distribution of financial resources, knowledge, and technology. In light of this, he called upon the international community to take necessary measures to achieve accelerated balanced development and create an enabling environment for growth based on innovation.
