Islamabad (IP)- The former Interior Minister and now a Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Shahryar Khan Afridi has warmly welcomed the expected visit of the Iranian President to Pakistan.

Iran Press/Asia: Expressing his views with Iran Press, Shahryar Khan said, "Iran lives in the heart of every Pakistani, we value Iran to the core of our heart, Ex PM Imran Khan also valued and gave due importance to our neighbors, and if we had issues they were addressed at all levels. So Iran enjoys a very prominent role and this visit will be very meaningful and fruitful during this testing time when Gaza and humanity are bleeding and pleading, nobody is becoming their voice, and those who are the so-called champions of human rights have their agendas and interests."

He added, "In these testing times the way Iran has led the initiative to become the voice of the unheard is exemplary, hats off to the Iranian leadership, hats off to the resilience, hats off to their commitment. I believe the entire Umma, OIC, Arab League the top of the United Nations, permanent members of the Security Council, G20, and all the global key stakeholders, the movers and shakers will realize the importance of this particular genocide which is taking place in Gaza, and they will not only become the voice they will play a bridging role and they will try their level best where humanity can be given due importance." 204
