Islamabad (IP) - The former Finance Minister, Former Deputy Chairman of the Senate, and Parliamentarian Saleem Mandviwalla says that the expected visit of the Iranian President has great importance & impact.

Iran Press/Asia: Talking to Iran Press, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla said, "The Iranian President's visit is something we were expecting, we wanted it to happen because the last time he met the Prime Minister (of Pakistan) at the border his official visit was due. I think they were waiting for the new government, as the new government has taken ever, we feel his visit is necessary to strengthen our bilateral relations.

Expressing his views about the recent situation after the Iranian revenge of the Damascus attack, Mandviwalla said, "Especially after the (retaliatory) attack on Israel, the whole Muslim world is looking towards Iran, we feel proud of Iran for taking the action that no other country could have taken such a daring action." 204
