Defensive weapons and equipment are produced according to the requirements of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Amir Hatami maintained.
In his visit to the Bani Hashem Armored Complex in Doroud, Lorestan province, said, “Iran’s sophisticated and advanced defensive industries is moving forwards for peaceful purposes.”
Conquering the boundaries of knowledge, innovation and creativity based on indigenized knowledge and technical knowhow indicates the existence of huge capacity and potential of country’s elite and committed youth in this industry, Hatami emphasized.
Having benefited from national capacities and potentials, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) is determined to materialize all objectives of the defensive industries of the country in the best form possible, he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hatami pointed to Iran’s high capability in producing armored equipment and machinery, adding “equipped with the most experienced and competent manpower, the Ministry of Defense has paved way for promoting and improving defensive productions.”
Islamic Republic of Iran is among world’s top leading countries in the field of defense industries, he said, adding, “the weapons and defensive equipment produced in the country enjoy high compatibility with the geographic situation of the country.”
Hatami pointed to the plots devised by enemies against the Islamic Republic, saying “fortunately, plots waged by enemies against the country have been thwarted thanks to the supports made by people and government.”
