Baghdad (IP) - Seyyed Ammar Hakim, who hosted Pezeshkian and his accompanying delegation in the presence of Iraqi Prime Minister al-Sudani, appreciated the message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to the people of Iraq for successfully hosting the Arbaeen processions. 

 Iran Press/West Asia: While emphasizing the depth of Iraq-Iran relations and the type of cultural, political, economic, and geographical commonalities they enjoy, Hakim said that Pezeshkian’s visit will further advance many projects in line with the interests of the two countries. 
 
The leader of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement pointed to Iraq’s stability at the security, political, and social levels as well as people's satisfaction with the performance of the current government. 
 
He underlined that the strengths of Iraqi society lie in the presence of the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), religious authority, and the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) or Hashd al-Shaabi and their framework of coordination. 
 
While highlighting the role of Iraq in terms of bringing the viewpoints closer between regional countries he also expressed Iraq's stance in supporting the Palestinian issue at different levels.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Erbil on Thursday as part of his official three-day visit to Iraq. This marks Pezeshkian's first foreign trip since taking office, aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two neighboring countries.
