Tehran (IP) - Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran for legal and international affairs traveled to Hague to participate in the fifth Review Conference (RC) of Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and met his Iraqi counterpart and Russian deputy minister of trade.

Iran PressEurope: The RC of CWC is held every five years and aims at evaluating the implementation of the provisions of the Convention; The 5th round of the conference started on May 15 in the Hague and will continue until May 19.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Reza Najafi met his Iraqi counterpart Omar Al-Barzanji to discuss bilateral and international issues including CWC.

Najafi met Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia heading the Russian delegation in RC, and exchanged views to boost ties. Iranian-Russian sides discussed issues related to the Convention for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
